Coronavirus Statement

Update 6-2-20:

With the first part of June arriving we see communities around the country ease COVID restrictions. As a health care center we understand our path will continue to be a balance between the safety of isolation and the unfortunate stress isolation can cause residents and families.

To make sure residents and families have an opportunity to connect with one another we want to remind you that we have several communication avenues available to you, Zoom, Facebook video chat, Skype and of course phone calls. Please contact our community and one of staff members will be happy to help you.

Moving forward we will continue to work with state and federal agencies to shape our plans and ensure the wellbeing of our residents and staff.

CDC guidelines that remain in place include:

– Maintaining social distancing
– Continuing our enhanced infection control protocols
– Screening staff health status prior to entering the Community
– Increasing the frequency of health assessments for residents
– Dedicating staff to serve those who may be at higher risk
– Engaging residents in individualized activities to meet their social needs
– Expanding use of Personal Protection Equipment (masks, face shield, gowns etc.)

If your loved one exhibits signs of COVID-19 you will be contacted as soon as possible to answer any questions you may have.

Resident COVID-19 Information

We are currently monitoring eight COVID-19 positive residents. To date, twenty three residents have tested positive at Health Center at Franklin Park. This includes the eight residents currently being monitored. The residents that have tested positive are in isolation and will remain separate from the main resident population until they recover.
