The Health Center at Franklin Park participated in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 20, 2014 in Denver City Park.  The staff and residents of Health Center at Franklin Park have joined the “Fight” against Alzheimer’s disease. HCPF is proud to have been a part of the Alzheimer’s Association because we are building a Secured Memory Care neighborhood to care for residents who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. This year was HCFP’s first year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and certainly will not be the last.  HCFP was able to raise $550.00 with help from our staff, resident, families and local businesses. We will strive ever year to make a difference in Raising Awareness and Walking for a Cure.

At this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Denver, Colorado our staff, residents and families joined the world’s largest event to Raise Awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s unites the entire community to fight against this devastating disease, the nation’s sixth leading cause of death. The city of Denver is proud to announce the first year raising over 1 million dollars. This just shows the true dedication our community has here in Denver, Colorado.
