Memory Care Open House Held March 16Posted on: February 23, 2016
The Community at Franklin Park hosted an open house for its new Memory Care Center on Wednesday morning, March 16th, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., in its Health Center building.
Open house guests were able to tour the recently completed Memory Care Center and talk with staff members. The new Memory Care Center includes private suites, dining room, activity area, living room with fireplace and beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the city - all catering to the needs of memory care residents.
Guests were also able to see the new private resident rooms that include a private bathroom with a walk in shower. These newly designed resident rooms offer the comforts of home with the staff to provide the care necessary for those with memory issues.
“We have dedicated the entire third floor of the Community to the new Memory Care Center and offer residents and families their choice of 5 private and 11 semi private rooms. We are excited to offer this new service to the seniors and families in our neighborhoods and look forward to meeting their needs,” states Jane Runge, Administrator, Community at Franklin Park.
Should resident’s needs change and they require additional health care services, Franklin Park offers a complete Health Care Center with rehab and long term care support. As a result, residents are able to move between levels of care without leaving the comfort and familiarity of the community.
