The Community At Franklin Park's Health Center would like to welcome new Human Resources Director Romicha Cooper. Romicha was born and raised in Colorado, and is proud to be a native. Romicha holds a M.P.S. in Strategic Human Resources Management and Development from the University of Denver. She also has earned a bachelors of Arts in Communication from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Romicha comes to The Health Center at Franklin Park with seven years of extensive experience as a former Operations Manager for Wal-Mart Stores. At Wal-Mart she wore many hats; some responsibilities include hiring, exit interviews, onboarding, investigations, budgets, scheduling, vendor relations, accounts payable, payroll and mediations.
Romicha believes she found her calling in Human Resources after witnessing firsthand the misguided and mistreatment of several employees and employers while working for a previous employer. This is when her curiosity for wanting to know more about what the role of Human Resources involved, so she enrolled at the University of Denver for the SHRM graduate program in 2009.
Outside of work, Romicha enjoys time with her family, her husband and (high school sweetheart) Juston Copper, who is a Deputy Director of the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition. Romicha has a 14 year old daughter, Zyon, who will be entering her first year of High School as a George Washington patriot. And last but not least, Romicha’s newest addition to her family is her 3 year old son Zaire, who will be attending preschool. Romicha and her family try to enjoy all of what life has to offer and live for every moment.
We welcome Romicha with open arms here at Franklin Park and will enjoy working along side her now and into the future.
